Rooftop Server

We are looking for a warm, energetic and professional Rooftop Server to join our team on one of the most unique spaces in the building. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy hospitality environment, strong food and drink knowledge, and excellent communication skills. They will be interested in seasonal food and drinks, passionate about hospitality, and committed to delivering memorable guest experiences in a lively rooftop setting.The Culpeper is part of a family of four pubs (and a small farm in Deptford). We focus on seasonality, quality ingredients, responsible sourcing and team member happiness. We believe in hospitality as a force for good.

‍Responsibilities

‍Offer warm and professional hospitality to all of our guests.

Guide guests through the rooftop food and drinks menus with confidence and enthusiasm.

Deliver attentive, knowledgeable and efficient service throughout each shift.

Work closely with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and a seamless guest experience.

Maintain a detailed understanding of the menu, ingredients, allergens and daily specials.

Set up and close down the rooftop space to a high standard.

Ensure cleanliness, organisation and presentation standards are maintained throughout service.

Support the team in creating a positive, upbeat and welcoming atmosphere on the rooftop.

Handle guest requests and feedback with care and professionalism.

Maintain a positive and supportive work environment at all times.

‍Requirements

‍Previous experience working in a similar role and environment.

A genuine interest in responsible food and drinks sourcing.

A passion for hospitality and guest experience.

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Confidence working in a fast-paced service environment.

Good food and drink knowledge, with a desire to keep learning.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
