This January, The Culpeper Family launched our new documentary screening series with an unforgettable evening at The Duke Organic in Islington.
Grounded in our 2026 guiding principle of Common Ground, the event brought together an incredible mix of filmmakers, farmers, chefs and guests for a warm, thoughtful night of film, food and conversation. Our series kicked off with a showing of Six Inches of Soil, a brilliant and surprisingly emotional look at the power of regenerative farming. The film follows three farmers on their journey of self discovery and transformation into regenerative farming. Shot beautifully and thoughtfully, it is one of the most informative and (excuse our language) kick-up-the-arse documentaries we’ve seen in a long time.
Our film panel featured:
Claire Mackenzie - Producer, Six Inches of Soil
Tom Morphew (Farmer Tom) - Farmer, founder of Full Circle Farms & Garden Army CIC.
Peter Weeden - Head Chef, The Duke Organic
There are very few things that can replace the energy of having a group of passionate people in a room together who share a united vision. Energised by a fantastic film, nourished by good food and drink and inspired by hopeful and invigorating conversation.
Our next screening will be at the end of February, ‘Wilding’ - which follows Charlie Burrell and his wife, Isabella Tree in their experiment to turn their Sussex estate into a biodiverse (and profitable) eco-haven. Keep an eye on our socials for more information and tickets.
